As we reported earlier this week, Ben Lampert, Daniel Hogan, Jack Harding and Fulham club captain Nick Beese all appeared on BBC Two’s See Hear yesterday, who were covering the announcement of the GB Squad for the Deaflympics, which take place in September 2009 in Taiwan.

Ben, Jack and Daniel featured on See Hear in October before and at the Deaflympics Squad Trials in Liverpool and were filmed again last Tuesday at Motspur Park during training.

Since then Ben and Daniel have made the squad, while Jack missed the cut but has since the filming took place been selected to the standby squad of six.  So Jack could find himself in Taiwan should for some reason a player is unable to fufil their duties.

From Fulham DFC, Nick Beese also made the squad and defender Jon Evans who is not shown on the programme was also selected.
