Following on with shrewd tactics applied by Wayne Jemmott in the previous month, to come atop, to a different aspect of the tactics in December’s battle for the #1 spot, CF Real Benevento had made no transfer changes (to date) since the formation of the season in August. With the absolute faith placed in the players by the manager, it seemed to have paid dividends, as Alex Bovino is the manager of the month, and the last one to be awarded this accolade in 2007.
