MMB played hosts to Fulham Deaf in this afternoon league fixture. An early cross by Ben Lampert straight to Kevin Harewood resulted in a shot going straight to the MMB's goalkeeper.

Nick Beese, in his comeback game after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, unleashed a left footed twenty-five yard chip that went just over the bar after a poor goal kick by MMB's goalkeeper.

An excellent Richard Jeffers' side-behind flick through found B. Lampert in acres of space on a one-to-one with MMB's goalkeeper. B. Lampert coolly slotted the ball into the back of the net to make it 0 – 1 to Fulham Deaf after seventeen minutes.

Three minutes later, an Andrew Drury's chip rebounded off the post straight to B. Lampert who didn't need a second invitation to slam it past the MMB's goalkeeper to make it 0 – 2 to Fulham Deaf.

Six minutes later, Jeffers headed the ball into the net to make it 0 – 3 but the referee overruled it for a dubious offside decision after the game re-kicked off. Therefore the match remained at 0 – 2.

Oliver Westbury threw the ball to Drury from the touchline inside MMB's half and Drury turned round past his marker to shoot straight to the MMB's goalkeeper.

Another Westbury's throw in, this time to Jeffers resulted the ball going over the crossbar.

On a rare MMB's attack, Feras Mouybad punches the ball out to safety before the referee blew for half time.

Fulham Deaf kicked off and immediately crossed to B. Lampert wide out on the left wing whose shot was blocked.

Mark Gill laid the ball off for Westbury to shoot over the bar after receiving a B. Lampert's cross. Second later Mouybad is injured in a 50-50 ball collision outside the box when MMB broke through. The ball went wide although John Docker had recovered to cover the post.

Just before the hour was up, MMB is awarded a free kick outside the box and the ball is shot straight to Mouybad who quickly throws it to Jeffers. Jeffers sped through inside MMB's half only to lose the ball by accident to the last MMB defender.

On the hour, Ben Stubbs replaces Ryan Pendley on a tactical decision by Christof Niklaus, the Fulham Deaf manager.

Beese won the ball inside Fulham Deaf's half and runs towards MMB's goal only to hesitate on whether to pass to Gill or Jeffers. Had Beese gone through himself, it could have been something else.

A Fulham Deaf corner taken by B. Lampert is well headed back by Harewood to Jeffers who is unfortunate not to finish the good movement.

Play starts again after seven minutes when the ball is replaced after the original ball is lost in a neighbour's back garden. Neil Fox replaces Harewood in another Niklaus' tactical decision.

MMB pulled a goal back after a bad Mouybad's throw to Westbury is lost to MMB and a cross to the far post by MMB resulted in a poor give away goal for Fulham Deaf who also produced poor defending in this spell.

 B. Lampert restores Fulham Deaf's two-goal lead after excellent ball control in his mazy dribbling inside the box when he slotted the ball home from close range. The second hat-trick in Fulham Deaf's history and this inaugural season after Jeffers' hat trick last November. 1 – 3 to Fulham Deaf.

Minutes later, the irrational referee points to the penalty spot to MMB's advantage. MMB scores with a retaken penalty to make it a nervous long eight minutes for Fulham Deaf.

However, Fulham Deaf held on to secure a valuable three points to move up to second in the league with five games to go.

Final score MMB 2 – 3 Fulham DFC
