On Wednesday 3rd December, Fulham DFC’s Ben Lampert, Daniel Hogan, Jack Harding will appear on BBC2’s See Hear, screening at 1pm.  Ben, Jack and Daniel featured on See Hear in October before and at the Deaflympics Squad Trials in Liverpool and were filmed again last Tuesday at Motspur Park during training.

Since then Ben, Daniel have made the squad, while Jack missed the cut but is fighting for a place in the standby group.

Fulham captain Nick Beese was invited to the studio to show his gold medal from the last Deaflympics which took place in Melbourne 2005, and answer questions about the Deaflympics and GB’s expectations.

Fulham DFC are very proud of its continued successful association with Great Britain Deaf Football who are the current World Champions.  Manager Ayad Sarraf is the Assistant Manager, defender Mark Gill is the Logistics Manager, former player Richard Parker (aka Safe Hands) is the GB Goalkeeping Coach.  

Ben Lampert, Nick Beese, Jon Evans and Daniel Hogan all made the Deaflympics Squad, with Jack Harding, Jacob Willis in contention for the standby list. More on the selected players from the men and women’s squads will be posted on this website soon.

Bryan Moore and Eion Burns are both in contention for the yet to be announced Ireland squad. Ireland and Great Britain are both in the same group, with Japan and Canada.
