Just four days to go until Fulham DFC take on Surrey Fire in the TECK Intermediate Cup Final. The last mainstream cup final Fulham competed in was back in 2004, in the League Cup Final win over Maori Park Reserves in what was the clubs first season.

While things have not gone to plan for Fulham this season, after being knocked out of the British Deaf Cup by Glasgow Deaf Athletic FC, Fulham has endured its worst run of defeats this season, in four games Fulham have been knocked out of the British Deaf Cup, League Cup and also ruled itself out of contention for the top two automatic promotion spots after losing to SHFC London.

This Saturday's home league game against Southfields will be an opportunity to put things right on the pitch, to find the form and confidence that seems to be deserting the squad in time for the big cup final match against Surrey Fire, to restore some pride and rescue the season and find some momentum to finish the season strong and grab the third spot in the league, which might also result in promotion, should a team drop out from the divisions above, pending league council decision.

Cup Final opponents Surrey Fire are currently 6th in Division 3 of the Kingston & District Football League. Last season Surrey Fire won promotion by finishing 2nd in Division 4 of the Kingston & District Football League.

Do come and support Fulham on Tuesday 24th April in the TECK Intermediate Cup Final, the boys need your support more than ever!

Kick off is 7.30pm at the The Herds Renault Stadium, ground for Molesey Football Club.
